Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced VDC Engineer to join our team on a project-based, primarily remote basis. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, along with deep expertise in BIM/VDC processes, issue tracking, and data management. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead VDC workflows for modular and traditional construction projects
- Develop, coordinate, and manage mechanical and electrical system models
- Utilize Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Navisworks, and issue-tracking platforms to support quality control and project alignment
- Manage data workflows, dashboards, and reporting, including tools such as Power BI
- Track, manage, and resolve design and construction issues in collaboration with project teams
- Support the integration of modular design and construction practices where applicable
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in VDC / BIM-related roles
- Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical systems modeling
- Strong knowledge of ACC, Navisworks, Revit, Revizto, Procore, and issue-tracking platforms
- Experience with data management, issue coordination, and Power BI dashboards
- Modular construction experience is a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams
